Pay to see and hear me (and others) talk
Fantastische Welten: Tage des Schreckens II invites audiences to immerse themselves in a weekend dedicated to the many faces of horror—from classic gothic texts to contemporary film, music, and digital media. Set in the atmospheric alpine surroundings of the Sonnenburg in Lech am Arlberg, the event explores how fear emerges across literature, culture, and technology, bringing together readings, lectures, and hands-on workshops. From Poe and Lovecraft to climate horror, game studies, and sonic experiments, the program spans both tradition and innovation, combining scholarly insight with creative practice. And, fittingly, I’ll be talking about mountain horror (in German). For more information, check out the website.
