Moving to Prague
Since I've finally received the paperwork, I'm happy to announce that I'll be joining the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University in Prague as Associate Professor for Film and Popular Media from October 1, 2026.
In my first year, I'll be teaching "Popular Culture and Cultural Theory" and "Animals in Film" in the fall/winter semester, followed by "Introduction to Videogame Studies" and "Visualizing the Anthropocene" in the spring.
Beyond that, I'll continue doing what I've been doing—with the welcome addition of a bit more job security. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
